Planned Parenthood Affiliates of Michigan was presented with an amazing opportunity last week. We have the chance to travel to Washington, D.C. via chartered bus at no cost (other than personal food on the trip) to attend the April 7th Planned Parenthood National Lobby Day. It is our opportunity to tell Senator Stabenow and Levin thank YOU for standing up for the rights of women and for being such amazing champions for women’s health care.
Hundreds of Planned Parenthood staff and board (and youth attending the youth summit) will be in Washington for a National Conference and will be heading to Capitol Hill to rally with Congress on Planned Parenthood’s behalf – let’s make it a sea of supporters wearing pink shirts from Michigan on April 7th.
We need to get solid confirmations from at least 45 supporters. If we cannot fill a bus we cannot go. If we can get 90 int erested we can bring two busses! The first round of RSVP’s will be on a first come first served basis. We are targeting campus leaders, Students for Choice, and young professionals throughout Michigan, if you and your group are available, SIGN UP TODAY! Once the first 45 slots get filled we may open up another opportunity for another round of 45, don’t take the chance!
