In response to recent cuts to federal funding for Planned Parenthood, cities all over the country are holding Walks for Choice (http://walkforchoice.tumblr.com/). Get excited, because there will be a walk in Ann Arbor this Saturday, March 26th! Hopefully a lot of people will come out, meet, make connections, and join forces to make change.
At noon, Planned Parenthood’s Truth Tour will be making a stop at Ingalls Mall on the UofM campus. It’s the space in front of Rackham, between the MLB and the Michigan League. Check out the event page on Facebook for more information at https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=100920576658124&ref=ts.
After the tour stop, probably around 1pm, the Ann Arbor Walk for Choice will take off on its route and serve as a positive and peaceful demonstration to show our representatives that we want them to represent us by advocating for reproductive rights, choice, and funding for Planned Parenthood.
